NOTE by making a booking with Us you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Definitions
“Us” “We” and “Our” means Sean Edwards Racing
“You” and “Your” means the party making the booking
1. Booking
1.1 Simply contact Us to make a booking via telephone, email or post
(see our Contact page).
1.2 Unless You are a returning client We will ask that You pay for your
tuition fee 15 days in advance of the event otherwise your booking
will be cancelled
2. Our obligations
2.1 Our instructors will provide instruction designed to improve your
skills and enjoyment in the areas such as:-
· Correct steering
· Positioning on track
· Handling
· Weight transfer
· Braking
· Oversteer/Understeer
· Circuit driving techniques generally
2.2 Race craft tuition, in and out of car tuition and race weekend
tuition is available – please contact Us to discuss your requirements.
2.3 We also provide tailored programmes for our students who wish to
compete or are currently competing. To find out more about Our
bespoke and tailored programmed – please contact Us to discuss
your requirements
3. Your obligations
3.1 For safety reasons You must observe and follow the instructions
given to You by Our instructors at all times.
3.2 You will act and behave in a safe and responsible manner whenever
You are in control of the car.
3.3 You are strongly advised to wear the appropriate protective clothing
and safety equipment.
3.4 You are strongly advised to investigate and take out such track day
insurance and other insurance cover as You deem appropriate to
cover any injury or damage to either yourself or to your property –
We cannot do this on your behalf.
3.5 That any car You supply for the tuition is in good and suitable
mechanical condition
4. Payment
4.1 Our current tuition fee will be agreed with You when We confirm your
booking.
4.2 In addition, We charge a mileage allowance to travel to and from
the event venue from our UK office.
4.3 For tuition at over sea circuits/locations, full fee and expense
details are provided upon application.
4.4 All circuit fees and disbursements are payable by You direct to the
relevant track day organiser.
5. Cancellations
5.1 In the event that You cancel any booking then please notify Us as
soon as possible.
5.2 We will charge a cancellation fee if a cancellation takes place
within the following periods prior to your booking:
5.2.1 Within 1 – 4 weeks 50% will apply.
5.2.2 Within 1 – 7 days 75% will apply.
5.3 In the unusual event that your allocated/nominated instructor is
unavailable for your event We will endeavour to source an
alternative ARDS qualified instructor or offer a refund of any tuition
fee paid.
5.4 In the unusual event that the event is cancelled in advance due to bad weather,
You will get a credit for what You have paid for, to be able to use on another day.
No refunds shall be given.
5.5 In the unusual event that the event is cancelled on the day due to bad weather,
We will make the decision on what credit shall be given, if any.
6. General
6.1 In the event that Our instructors deem that You are demonstrating
unsafe driving behaviour then Our instructors reserve the absolute
right to terminate Your tuition immediately without reimbursement
of any fees paid.
6.2 A person who is not a party to the contract between Us and You will
have no right to enforce any terms or conditions of the contract
pursuant to the Contracts (Rights Against Third Parties) Act 1999
6.3 The contract between Us and You shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
